NZ connections to Episode 3

A couple of interesting trivia points have surfaced recently. As well as the well publicised fact that Jay Laga’aia is returning to EP3 as Captain Typho, recent information confirms that Rena Owen is returning as the voice and stand-in for Taun We, and Bodie Taylor, who played the unhelmeted versions of the clone soldiers in EP2, returns to play the clonetroopers.

And, although the details remain a little elusive, this quote comes from a very recent edition of the Sydney Morning Herald: “The only shooting outside Sydney would be some plate photography – for visual effects – in Italy, New Zealand and Switzerland.”
