We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of actor Gerald Home on the 6th October (Thursday NZT), who played Tessek/Squid Head and a Rebel Mon Calamari officer in Return of the Jedi. Gerald was an active and enthusiastic participant in the fan and convention community, a long-time supporter of SWNZ going back to the first interviews he did for SWNZ in 2004 on the topic of his Star Wars roles, and a personal friend.
