The Rise of Skywalker promotional popcorn and soft-drink items at Event Cinemas include this very large and surprisingly well detailed R2-D2 popcorn-and-drinking-vessel combo collectible, as well as a range of slightly more standard designs of cola cups and popcorn buckets.

R2-D2 is about 42cm from head to toe. His dome watertight, and holds a large-sized cup’s worth of carbonated beverage. Popcorn can be accessed by removing R2’s hemispherical cranium, or through a slightly less-than-ergonomic pull-out hatch on his back panel. This product seems to be restricted to cinemas in the Auckland area. Priced at $60, full with food and drink, he is actually notably cheaper than the versions sold in Australia (AU$75) or the United States (US$50 + tax), and was selling extremely fast on opening night.

Four different soft-drink cups featuring Kylo Ren, a First Order stormtrooper, C-3PO, or a Sith Trooper, are available either with a metal popcorn bucket ($29) or popcorn in a bag ($19).
