Star Wars Holden Racing Scale Models

For the 2015 Bathurst 1000, two Holden Racing Team cars were decked out in The Force Awakens graphics to celebrate the December release of that movie. Diecast model company Biante Model Cars has release these two vehicles in a couple of scales (1:43 and 1:18), and all four collectibles are available through SWNZ affiliate Toyco’ s website (these products are online only):

• 1:43 Biante Star Wars Holden VF Commodore V8 Holden Racing Team 2015 Bathurst 1000 Tander Luff, $134.99
• 1:43 Biante Star Wars Holden VF Commodore V8 Holden Racing Team 2015 Bathurst 1000 Courtney Perkins, $149.99
• 1:18 Biante Holden VF Commodore V8 Supercar 2015 Bathurst 1000 Tander Luff, $319.99
• 1:18 Biante Holden VF Commodore V8 Supercar 2015 Bathurst 1000 Perkins Ingall, $319.99

Driver window decals were changed between the unveiling of one of these Star Wars V8s, as Russell Ingall stepped in to replace James Courtney who injured a few months previously. The no.2 Star Wars car (Tander & Luff) ultimately finished 3rd, while the no.22 car (Perkins and Ingall) finished 11th.
