Three new table designs are coming soon for this Star Wars Pinball game ...
Star Wars Pinball: Balance Of The Force coming this Fall
Zen Studios recently announced three new tables for Star Wars Pinball will be released this fall. The Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force collection will offer table themes based on Return of the Jedi, Starfighter Assault, and everyone's favorite helmeted villain Darth Vader.
  • Help the rebellion destroy the Sith and the fearsome Death Star in the Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi table. Aid Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, R2-D2, and C-3PO in their fight against the Sith in order to restore peace to the galaxy.

Pay tribute to the Dark Lord of the Sith in a table dedicated to Darth Vader. Use the Dark Side of the Force to mercilessly pursue the Jedi and Rebel Alliance, and face off with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.

Support the Rebel Alliance's Fleet or the Galactic Empire's Armada, as you lead your side to victory in Star Wars: Starfighter Assault. The table features legendary Starfighters like the X-wing and TIE Fighter, and iconic vessels like the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star II.

The fate of the galaxy is in your hands! Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force will be available as downloadable content for existing Star Wars Pinball games and Zen Studios pinball platforms on digital stores including Xbox LIVE Arcade, Steam, PlayStation Network (PlayStation 3 and PS Vita), Nintendo Wii U eShop, Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows 8, Mac App Store, and Kindle Fire HD.

May the Force be with you!

This is the brief review of the iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad version of the game from the "July 2013" issue of the UK's MacFormat magazine ...
Star Wars Pinball
Tabled for rebel lovers

Star Wars Pinball isn't traditional pinball; instead it builds on real-world physics and tables, adding pre-programmed sequences with animated figures that turn the table into a kind of interactive stage. The Empire Strikes Back table (included with the app) lets you play recreations of six scenes from the movie, and it's the best of the three. The Boba Fett table's graphics can occasionally become overwhelming, though the Clone Wars table is much more interesting.

The only big mistake Star Wars Pinball makes is in shutting itself off from anyone who's not already a pinball aficionado. Like any type of game, pinball has rules, but the guides are hidden away in the pause menu. These are critical in helping newcomers understand how the tables work, otherwise it can feel random.

MacFormat Verdict: This flipping brilliant game is more fun than shooting womp rats in your T-16 back home.
