There will be a limited one time drop in the country for the Complete Edition, while the Classic and Modern Trilogies will be ongoing items so if you want a Complete,pre-order now.

In comparison the LOTR Extended with the replica ring nearly sold out in 2 days with the standard edition barely available with limited supply now.

That's quite a good price (not that we've got a lot to compare it to yet) ... or they've mistakenly got the Australian price.

The prices (excluding delivery) from Ezy DVD in Australia are:
  • Star Wars: The Complete Saga (9 Disc Box Set), Blu-ray, Au$139.97 (~NZ$181.67)
  • Star Wars: The Original Trilogy (3 Disc Set), Blu-ray, Au$69.97 (~NZ$90.82)
  • Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy (3 Disc Set), Blu-ray, Au$69.97 (~NZ$90.82)
The prices (excluding delivery) from Atlantic DVD in Australia are:
  • Star Wars: The Complete Saga (9 Disc Box Set), Blu-ray, Au$127.95 (~NZ$166.07)
  • Star Wars: The Original Trilogy (3 Disc Set), Blu-ray, Au$63.95 (~NZ$83.00)
  • Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy (3 Disc Set), Blu-ray, Au$63.95 (~NZ$83.00)
They should take the Australian GST off those prices, but I've noticed webstores often don't. :(

Nope,thats the JB NZ pre-order price :)

Theres always the chance the price will change closer to release, but pre-orders will get the cheaper price and freight is currently free.

Despite the debatable cover Im still gonna be pre-ordering :)

I stopped off at JB Hi-Fi in Albany this afternoon and they still have about 10 of the Lord of the Rings Extended Edition Blu-ray packs on display.

Wow! A whole 99c cheaper! ;)

I wonder if anyone will be offering extra freebies or a competition when buying these sets? The Warehouse sometimes does.

Im glad they put CG Yoda in, I remember rumours that they were gonna add him as a CG character in the last batch of "ultimate" dvd releases but it definitely makes seeing him jump around Dooku in Ep 2 ALOT easier to swallow.

The "younger" Ep1 Yoda never made much sense to me anyway,as a 800+ year old creature,Yoda seemed to age pretty quickly between Ep1 and Ep2 than he did during the rest of the saga :)

Still doesn't capture yoda from ESB/ROTJ

This is what they should have done.
