Hey all I have recently changed my supplier of ABS to another company and much to my surprise and joy they have readily available BLACK ABS.
I needed to order a sheet for another project I am working on but managed to slip in a shoulder bell to see what it might look like.
Keep in mind this ABS was the haircell variety but they do have high gloss smooth as well
Ha ha I've just realised you can see the ceiling in my workshop!
So anyway I should be able to offer black stormtrooper parts and might be able to start working towards a TIE pilot in the future whoo hoo!
Anyone who has a decent size fighter pilot helmet that the x wing and tie helmets were based on PM me

Wow, that's shiny...almost looks like a black chrome.

Yeah this new company I am dealing with has really nice product including very glossy white ABS

That's great news Jon! Shiny White Gloss For the Win!
I might have to order me another set just because I get so many comments on how lovely and shiny my Oota #2 is (maybe it's Maybelene)
And YES, I must get a Tie Pilot too I rekon

cool man! yeah I'm going to try out a helmet in the black ABS see how it looks but yeah I reckon be great to have a few black stormtroopers about the place
For the tie pilot I'd have to make up a control box thing too but it's a fine looking helmet that one

Yea I see on your garage ceiling that you may need some more lights, I can do that for you
I just need the time to come up with my helmet and put some up for you if you need.

While Im happy with my shiny white TK I would be super keen on set of AT-AT Driver armour & helmet
