1:1 Mouse Droid build

Post by Bazzack »

Not that I need anything else to do, but i'm throwing a new project in the works anyway.
A full scale Radio controlled Mouse Droid.

This guy is much bigger than you may think, unless you've seen one up close.
3&3/4" scale mouse shown to try and give a sense of size.

Parts I have so far are a Vac formed 2 piece body, and a custom designed carbon fibre chassis, that some guys on the Astromech builders site have produced to match the original props dimensions.

I like the idea of having a RC'd droid that I can easily transport, when a life size R2-D2 is too hard.

Too fast to corner well. Might need to build some bumper car bumpers into it ;)
