I'm still recovering a bit from a great, but long and mildly tiring, weekend down at the Armageddon Convention in Hamilton of the last couple of days.
We had a great time representing the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion, with both groups working together to raise donations for the Child Cancer Foundation. Have to wait a bit before we get a final tally of the amount raised, but the Foundation provided some of their really good promotional banners which worked fantastically to convey what the groups were all about, and the convention attendees were fantastically generous.
Cool to see you there Chad. Nice to have a local convention starting up in your part of the country? I hope the Hamilton Armageddon continues to grow. It was our first time getting down to it, but we totally found it worthwhile and will be back down next year.
Awesome photos Matt it was great trooping with your family again.
Hopefully we will have a tally of the collection buckets later today. I'll keep you posted.
Looking forward to catching up again in October for Auckland Armageddon.

Cheers Phil, and likewise.
Quite curious to hear the total collected...it felt like a good response from the con attendees!
