Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace 3D Junior Jedi Journalist competition
The Opportunity:
Are you a Junior Jedi Journalist? 20th Century Fox, Film3, Event Cinemas and grabaseat are giving one young reporter the chance to work with 3 News entertainment reporter Kate Rodger in San Francisco.
The winner and a parent/guardian will fly to the US, thanks to grabaseat, and work with Kate making a report to air on 3 News about the upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace 3D. The winner will also create a blog about the experience for Film3, Event Cinemas Kids Club / Film Squad, and the Grabaseat website.
The Prize:
The winner and a parent or guardian will fly Auckland to San Francisco on Air NZ courtesy of Grabaseat, arriving in the US on 27 January, then drive to Skywalker Ranch for the two-day junket, departing San Francisco the morning of 30 January. They will stay at a hotel in San Francisco, where meals will be provided.
The judges are looking for a young person with good on-camera presentation skills, natural curiosity and ability to ask appropriate questions, between 10 and 15 years old.
How to enter:
Make a short video of yourself talking to the camera, telling us a bit about yourself, why you think you would be a good Junior Jedi Journalist and what you want to find out about Star Wars.
Then upload it to YouTube and paste the link in the entry form on the 3 News website.
