Sony Pictures distribute Disney DVD product in NZ theyve told me they arent releasing the Rebels Season 1 Blu-ray in NZ, only the DVD and the release date has shifted to Sept 16.

Bummer there's a delay in release. The family just watched the spark of rebellion. As we get used to the characters and the aesthetic we are enjoying this show more and more. Dave Filoni has totally nailed the feel of star wars again yay!
NZ$56 (as Sam's calculated) isn't too bad. Amazon seem to remove tax from the listed price, then add a small shipping charge which brings the total back to £23.57 (which is cheaper than the tax-inclusive price).
SW.com mentions that the two episodes to air at NYCC will feature the series debut of
Captain Rex, Captain Gregor, and Commander Wolffe, together with Ahsoka.
Still no exact date of when series two will air on tv (other than 'fall'), though some sites are reporting a German air date of October 23rd.
A trailer for Rebels season 2 has begun airing on US tv, comfirming it's return sometime in October - a few photos (of the tv, hopefully the trailer will show on-line somewhere)
A youtube video of the US ad for season 2 had the premiere date of October 14th - but the video was quickly changed to 'private' and is currently not viewable.
That makes the decision easier. Rather than wait and see I shall go ahead and order it from Australia.
