Yeah, there are a few other characters that resemble death star gunners and navy trooper, but it's way to hard to tell from this screen shot.

I must have more patience I keep telling myself :yoda:

That shows a crazy amount of detail when zoomed fully in.

Nice find!

Although some of those officers are doing a crazy MJ lean, (might just be the camera angle)

That is an amazing picture. So much detail, so much to learn.

It looks like the Tie Pilots have shoulder armour. The Stormtrooper Sergeants / Officers are wearing pauldrons (mainly orange, but a couple of black). I can't make out any large units of snowtroopers, despite the terrain.

From a military perspective (not that I am / have ever been), the lines don't look very straight. Almost as though the CGI editor had a composition of perfect lines and changed it because it looked "too artificial" and went too far the other way - I may be reading a bit much into one picture.

And the height difference in the Stormtroopers, there are either some really tall, or really short ones.

Whoa, that's amazing. I just found my new desktop wallpaper.

Well, now it is clear that those are walkers on the right, and what I took to be a widely spread left and right legs are actually front and back, which makes much more sense. They look pretty darned cool with their turtle-like armour and big long tusk-guns.

Is that a lake in the background, between the parade ground and the distant snowy mountain range? It almost looks that way to me.

The boat-like craft are really intriguing. They remind me of amphibious landing craft with their drop-front ramps. The back of one can be seen in great detail in the foreground, bottom left. Some of its shapes are reminiscent of submarines.

Nice catch on the pauldrons, Eng. You're right. Given the control of colour palette in this shot, I have to wonder if the orange pauldrons aren't in fact red to match all the first order heraldry? They're gonna make amazing figures. :D

Man, I was hoping there would be, but there will be no new trailer at D23.

No new footage, but J.J's wording doesn't rule out new images/stills (like Hux at SDCC) *fingers crossed in hope* :)

It bodes well for Force Friday, as it'll be the Fall, along with the start of the real marketing blitz.

It would be cool to see them release something that day, as it's far more international/widespread than D23. Like you say, the start of the marketing would be greatly boosted by another footage release.
