I have been talking with Toyworld Te Rapa in regards to Force Friday. Now there was a meeting that took place this past Wednesday and force Friday was the focus. According to The store owner there are plans in place for Auckland and Wellington toyworld's to host force Friday but all comes down to staff availability. Might pay to visit your local toyworld's and ask. Te Rapa toyworld has asked me on if there is enough fans in the Waikato area who would be interested in attending a midnight Madness. Now the deal here is if the demand is there she will be convinced in hosting a Hamilton event.
So my question to fellow forum members is who would be keen to attend in Hamilton?
The other thing I also need to find out for Debbie (retailer Te Rapa Totworld) is wether or not other toy outlets are doing the event in the Waikato, like Kmart ect otherwise there is no point in her doing it. It's a shame we didnt know more information sooner as I could of Organised one sooner.

The option to hold these such events have become available to our stores. However as each store is individually owned, there is an option on whether stores would like to participant in these midnight events.
The finer details and confirmation on what stores will be participating is yet to be confirmed. But I can put your details aside and contact you when I have those details if you would like?
This is the response I got from Toyworld, so it looks like they're still sorting everything out, I've taken the offer of being emailed more details when they emerge so I'll post an update when I get one if we don't hear anything else beforehand.

Awesome, thanks for that td. I received a similar response when I had a chat to the Welly CBD staff today. They confirmed that they'd be running some sort of event on September 4th, but that the details were still being sorted. They offered to take my number and get in touch as soon as plans are finalised.

I've just had a call from the folks at Toyworld, and can now confirm that the Ballance Street Toyworld in Wellington will be holding a special release event at 12.01am on Friday 4th September.
I guess I'll see you there Strone and Kiwi sapper? Who else is keen?
