Denver 2017 sounds ok although my theory with Anaheim this year was that Disney would’ve been keen on a location near one of their theme parks, i.e. Disney Land. With the sell out tickets they had at Anaheim, I thought another location like that would’ve been a sensible financeable idea.

People complain if they're on either coast.
Plus, Denver has some history to it, too.

I'm not a fan of Disneyland – to the point where I almost find the place a bit creepy – but, man, did I love
Star Tours !

I'm with you there, it's worth going to Disneyland, even just to experience Star Tours

We managed 10 runs on Star Tours during our 3-day visit to Disneyland, getting all segments multiple times, with the exception of Tatooine which we somehow missed - I was even a rebel spy once
So much fun!

YOU REBEL SCUM!
I wish I could've done more, but we were only there for three hours, so we were pressed for time.
Anyway, some more highlights, via StarWars.com:

The advantage weith it being in Denver is that you're not too far away from Far Away Creations, you could always catch up with Cal & Cathy Pierce.
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.
