Customs?

Post by Dawfydd »

Hey guys just wondering if anyone does their own customs?
I've seen bunches of great work online from arc trooper re-paints to completely new figures like bo-katan.

I'd love to see any you've made yourself or brought.
Or perhaps you have an idea you haven't gone through with you should share it perhaps somebody can give you advice or a suggestion that makes you consider trying it. :)

Just to get the ball rolling, check out Reverend Strone's custom figure thread here: http://swnz.dr-maul.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=875

As 3D printers get cheaper, it should make creating custom figures and accessories easier ... all you need then is a 3D scanner and you can add your head onto any figure (like they do at Disney theme parks). :)

I'd never want my head on anything :D
I'd just love to print extra shoulder pads for arc troopers and sandtroopers/etc as well as weapons of all sorts and phase 2 helmets!

Very nice thread too!

Those are cool vehicles Chad.

I used to do a lot of custom figures, and custom cards, back in the old days when the character selection from Hasbro was actually quite limited.

These are old, small photos of some of the custom personalised carded figures I did for other members of the 501st Legion.
