There is a thread over on the Rebelscum forums that showed up a couple of days ago, that is very much worth checking out if you haven't seen it yet. Ron Salvatore, a well-known avid collector (one of the crew from The Star Wars Collectors Archive), has dug up and scanned polaroids of store displays around the time the SW, ESB, and ROTJ figures, vehicles and playsets respectively started hitting toy store shelves.

Re: Vintage Toy Store photos
That is incredible!
I still have fond memories of Mum taking me to Moore Wilsons and buying Wicket from when ROTJ was released.
Also loved The Toy Warehouse in Alicetown, that was a amazing store with many fond memories of buying Star Wars, Transformers and Ninja Turtles for me. Too bad it's now a Hunting and Fishing store
