The last lot I bought of both modern and vintage compatible protechs, were actually exactly the same apart from the foot peg size. It would certainly be nice if the Vintage ones were smaller.MattG wrote: My preference is for the Protech clear, round plastic stands. The vintage ones have a smaller footprint (smaller diameter) than the "modern figure" ones.....

Modern Protech on the far right. Vintage Protech center: The nicest stands I've seen are 'The Real Action Stand'(on the left), but it looks like they've shut up shop.

I inherited a few with some loose vintage figures that I bought.
I have some spare protechs for modern figures, but unfortunately just enough Vintage ones to suffice for my collection.
From memory the bulk lot that I bought cost me around $4.50 each. So it certainly adds up.
If I need more for Vintage, I think I'll find a suitable diameter dowel and modify my spare modern stands. Or possibly even drill and dowel some permanent positions into my display shelves.
