This fella has been in my possession for about three decades, so it is about time I got him some new clothes and toys, just to keep him happy... with that, where's the best place to get reproduction capes and sabers?
Or, maybe, even original pieces?

Yeah, pretty much that. I used to have a few online stores bookmarked for such things, but they've all shut down, and many people just sell them through eBay. Die-cutting of vinyl is pretty easy, so there are plenty of options of reasonable quality for capes, and the repro sabers I've picked up are pretty tidy. Originals are available, also on eBay, but for for nice ones with intact saber tips, the prices are surprisingly high.

I'll sell you my original Darth Vader figure which still has it's original cape and lightsaber ... it comes "free" with a huge pile of other proper-vintage figures and vehicles for the "low, low" price of "only" $8,000 - $10,000 (plus shipping).
I haven't bought anything from them, so have no idea of the quality of service, but there is this one: ReproParts.net

If you wait a few more years for 3D printing to become more common-place, then you'll be able to download the plan and print your own repro parts.

What's the best stand for loose figures?

Re: Vintage Kenner Reproduction Parts?
My preference is for the Protech clear, round plastic stands. The vintage ones have a smaller footprint (smaller diameter) than the "modern figure" ones, as the former figures tend to have narrower leg stances. The other stand options such as the grey or black "The Earth" versions have a slightly smaller footprint again, but I personally got for the transparent ones as they are less distracting in a display.Harvey Mushman wrote:What's the best stand for loose figures?
