Introduction

Post by bambizzle »

Hey guys, been a long time Star Wars fan, as a kid I use to collect every Micro Machines Star Wars toys my pocket money could buy me, I have just recently decided to deck my studio out with Star Wars collectibles (more statues and ornaments instead of toys). I have just picked up a bunch of the Pop Funko bobbleheads and the double pack of the Kotobukiya 1/10 Royal Guard statues. After a few weeks of searching around some more I've fallen in love with the more dearer, limited sideshow and gentle giant detailed statues, I plan on purchasing my first few once I've made my mind up which ones I'm totally sold on. Anyway sorry for the big spiel I was just coming here to see if you guys could suggest any other 1/10 scale statues to go along side my Kotobukiya guards, I was planning on getting the cloud city Vader and Bobba Fett but that's about it, lots of other models on their line don't look like any scenes from the movie.

Glad I found this forum, look forward to hear from you guys, any suggestions to model/statue collecting and where to start will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bambizzle, welcome to the forums.

You'll get quite a bit of agreement about the general appeal of the Sideshow and Gentle Giant statues from members there...they're very nice collectibles.

I don't have any of the 1/10 scale Kotobukiya pieces myself (do have some of their larger scaled stuff), but from what I've seen, they've done a great job on those products. I don't know if there is much else in that exact scale, but Hasbro will soon be coming out with their 6-inch "Black Series" line of articulated figures. 6 inches will put them in a bit shorter than the Koto/ArtFX+ statues though/

Yer I been looking around Mightyape, Ebay, Reelcollectibles for some nice statues (not really into figures that have moveable parts) in the $200-500 price range, at the moment there doesn't seem to be too much that excites me aside from the upcoming Mythos range. Guess Ill just add some more ArtFx 1/10 to my desk for the time being. Does anyone own the cloud city Vader or Bobba Fett 1/10 ArtFx Statues? They seem to be the only other ones that I fancy, so many of the other ones have weird poses that I don't recall from the movie.

Hi all, thought I will get my nerd on this morning and announce myself.
I have been collecting off and on ever since I started to earn my pay.
I have accumulated quite a large trove over the years.
Here are some pictures I will like to share.

Been reading Darth Bane Trilogy books
The books draws out the humanities of the SITH and I have a new respect for the SITH ideology.

"Peace is a lie There is only passion
Through passion I gain strength
Through strength I gain power
Through power I gain victory
Through victory my chains are broken
The Force shall set me free”
