Whoo hoo!! check out what I did for a couple of hours today!!!

After a fair bit of digging around I have found that there are maybe 3 or 4 cockpits knocking around NZ, a couple in AKL. But who knows maybe there's more.

It was a real blast playing the game again lots of fun I am ready to go back and have another go!

There doesn't seem to be anyone around who knows how the distribution and importing of these games was done back in the 80's but I've got a couple more contacts to try so who knows might be able to find out how many of these made to NZ.

I'm still playing around with the idea of making one of these. Anyone know how to do drawings in CAD? Might have to look at a collaboration!

They know HEAPS about this game and I met a guy who offered to show me his fully armed and operational game! If I do go ahead with a build or a resto I will be able to have access to his game for reference etc.

But as you know I've a couple of other projects on the go so we'll just have to see how this pans out..

weird I missed this post thanks Anaria! that's a pretty competitive price for the cockpit but a bit high for the upright.

I'm fairly far down the rabbit hole on another cabinet, a total derelict in OZ that I am planning to bring over as one of my projects for next year. I'll be posting a build/ restoration thread here. It's going to be a mission!
