The action figure potential of this series that is being completely ignored is heartbreaking. If you were a kid watching this stuff on a Saturday morning and then went shopping in the afternoon with mum, good luck finding any characters you saw to beg her to buy, except perhaps Maul. He's still lingering in good numbers since the Ep 1 overship, but there are no Mandolorians to speak of, no Bo Katan, or Pre Viszla, no Savage, none of the gangsters etc. The Mandolorian redecos or even Obi-Wan in armour would have been easy money for Hasbro considering all the repaint potential this arc has provided. Unfortunately the Clone Wars line has been effectively neglected to the point where now it is pretty much dead and the realistic CW characters are drip fed out at a rate of one per Vintage wave. That trickle is so slow that even after more than ayear we still haven't gotten through the inevitable main character redos to any genuinely new and exciting characters (possibly excepting Ahsoka). The show has never been richer or more compelling and yet there is no merchandising to support it. Bizarre.

Hmm, am I counting wrong or are we looking at a short season this year? They keep refering to this new Ahsoka four part arc as the finale of the season, but that would only take us to 20 episodes.

It's possible that it's finishing early so it can be moved to one of the Disney channels sooner.

Yup, 20 episodes, as compared to the 22 in each of the preceding seasons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars: ... (season_5)

I think that's up in the air at the moment. The only thing we do know with relative certainty is that TCW isn't on The Cartoon Network's next-season schedule, and the ?presumption is that it will move to "Disney XD".

PS: this analysis is probably relevant... http://www.starwarsunderworld.com/2013/ ... -been.html
Firstly, in an interview at the premiere of Season 4 in September 2011, writer Christian Taylor stated that, "We are 3 years ahead of you guys. We've already written season 6".
