Hasbro is holding another community toy sale, with proceeds going to Albany Primary School.

The Star Wars logo is included on the flyer.

They also mention a Friday night pre-sale event - tickets to this are $10 per family, available for sale from Albany Primary School office on Tues 6th November (are expected to sell out). If you're attending on Saturday, you don't need a ticket, the Friday night event just gets you first pick of the toys on sale etc.

Facebook page for the event.

Anyone get some cool stuff/deals? Was there much of interest at the sale?

The pre-sale is today (tonight?), if you've bought tickets.

As happened last year, there's also a 50% off book sale almost next door at The Book Depot on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 November with proceeds going to Albany Primary School as well. They don't usually have Star Wars books, but could be a good place to pick up some Christmas presents while you're there. :)

Anyhows, given it is over now, did anyone get some cool stuff/deals? Was there much of interest at the sale? ;)

Well, we did try and get tickets to the Friday pre-sale, but they sold out faster than previously (in less than 24 hours, it seemed). Didn't get to the main sale, partly because the few times we've been in the past, we've spent up to a couple of hours standing in queues ...they do sometimes unearth some product that didn't get well distributed, so I'd be interested to hear from anyone that made it along too.
