Hello All
Just moments ago my clever 2 and a half year old accidently spilt her drink over my clone turbo tank

stupid me had it in the dinning room in order to take photos.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get it out of the electronics or do i bite the bullet and search for another one?

Depends on what the drink was, but you'll probably need a new one.
For things like keyboards and mobile phones, some people CLAIM to have had success by removing the battery (if applicable), thoroughly washing / rinsing the device under water, and then leaving it in very-low-heat warm oven or in the hot water cupboard (either wrapped in towels, absorbant paper, or inside a box full of rice) for as long as possible. Only put the battery back in when it's completely dry.
If it's already ruined, then it can't hurt to try it, although it may mean you'll lose any external stickers.

Thanks Buzz. the drink was milk and it landed on the buttons. I think i might just give her the toy to play with now and look for a new one. I did try a blow dryer but will get some batteries tomorrow and see if it goes.

hey mate you could try going down to hammer hardware and getting some isopropyl alcohol, this is pretty potent stuff but it's made for cleaning such electronic devices you just make up a spary bottle and spray it in the buttons and leave over night in the hot water cupboard to allow alcohol to evaporate. hope this helps.
