Wow Arc, that's a great move. I wish you success and enjoyment.
Texas is gonna be a big change from NZ, but if you long for some greenery I know that the eastern part of the state is one big jungle. I travelled there in 2010 and was amazed. People think of Texas as cattle country with cacti and rattlers, but the eastern quarter or so is a vast green wilderness that is big enough to swallow most other smaller states. It remded me a little of home in places.
Shame you can't make it to CVI but I am sure there will be other events nearby that you'll be able to enjoy now thanks to your proximity, and thanks very much for the kind offer of being our guy on the ground over there.

Well after a few months of preparation D-Day has finally arrived, and tomorrow I depart for Texas. I'll be sure to let you all know how I get on (and hopefully post a few Houston store reports in the coming weeks ).

Thanks everyone I'm all settled in now. The next thing is to try and get used to this oppressive heat and humidity (35 degrees and 80%). It certainly makes a change to Wellington!
