Run like you've got a rancor on your tail. Should be very entertaining.
Should see if someone can grab some video of this event.
Anyone able to keep up with Oota as he's circumnavigates the course at lightspeed... with their phone videoing?
I've just been on the phone to the information line - unfortunately, due the (highly publicised) extreme weather, the event is cancelled. No word of a postponement or replacement event on Sunday.
I rang right on 10 and yeah. But I also got a call on my mobile. It looks like we may be able to join the Kumeu event on march 25 if that suits anyone?
But that is somethng to decide over the next week or so
Not 100% sure about availability for next weekend.
Am just thinking about possible alternatives...I might do a daily "R4L replacement tally" over the next week, and commit to doing 50+ km in the spirit of the Relay.

50+km?
Like 5x 10km, or something like that?
Yeah. I was hoping to do 50km over the course of the Relay, so was thinking to just go with that figure over the next week, and post a tally each day.

you're doing that in your armour right?
Not sure I could do more than a small percentage of that without significant armour modification!
Am currently up to 31.8km.
On a slightly different note...I've still got all the R4L t-shirts for those who entered. Shoot me a message if you want me to post them out, or if you want to call past to pick them up.
