Comic Con coming to South Australia in 2012!

Adelaide has been chosen to host the Down Under debut of Oz Comic-Con next year.

Just for the record, this has nothing to do with the big US Comic Cons like SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con International) or NYCC (which aren't actually affiliated with each other)...they're just trading on the name...somewhat effectively, if not cheekily, judging by the way the media is handling it.
Armageddon Expo used to have a Adelaide convention around the same time of the year, but unfortunately won't be in 2012.

Not to that event. We were actually considering going to Armageddon Adelaide, but it was cancelled, in a large part, due to the announcement of this event.
