Here's one I'm already looking forward to...SW: The Blueprints (ie, production plans for props and sets), from JW Rinzler, who did the SW and ESB 'Making of Books'.

Shipping September. Looks like online ordering only.

The pricing means I'm probably dreaming though... GBP215 = NZ$422!

Sheesh! And probably means that I'll check it on YouTube when someone does a review but that's about it.MattG wrote: The pricing means I'm probably dreaming though... GBP215 = NZ$422!

On a slightly related note, the author, JW Rinzler, tweeted this pic hinting at the extent of stored photographs/art in the LFL archives: http://twitpic.com/5fvjyt

Only $422?!? That's cheap.
You should see the price Ferrari is charging for their "limited edition" book - even the one without the diamond encrusted cover is hideously expensive ($1000s)!

US$1000 is the price of the signed edition of the blueprint book. Limited to 125 and signed by 3 academy award winners!Buzz Bumble wrote:Only $422?!? That's cheap.

Yep, Doc, Grumpy, and Dopey - three of the Seven Dwarves from Disney's Snow White Academy Award ... or at that price it's more like Greedy, Greedy, and Greedy.Gorman wrote:... signed by 3 academy award winners!
I can't remember how much the Ferrari book was ... the diamond encrusted cover version was something idiotic like $25,000 while the non-diamond version was still about $3,500. Of course, that would be peanuts to the people buying Ferraris anyway, or the fool in today's NZ Herald who left his keys in his Aston Martin and it was stolen.
