I've been waiting for the second wave of Retro Collection figures for a while now and am a bit let down by the line up....Hasbro had so many cool figures they could have chosen from ANH but have jumped ahead to Empire.
The Luke Bespin figure would have to be one of my all time favourites of the vintage line but the new Retro figure looks way off, not one I'll be actively hunting down unfortunately.

Retro line jumped to ESB presumably because of the 40th anniversary. If the line continues to do well, we could very much see more.

Then I would have preferred to see some special 40th Anniversary packaging instead of just the same type Hasbro tends to be sticking with.MattG wrote:Retro line jumped to ESB presumably because of the 40th anniversary. If the line continues to do well, we could very much see more.
The demand for Retros seemed to die down rather quickly after their initial release.....none of the original figures were, or are even now, hard to come by.
Don't get me wrong I love the concept of the retro line but it's just I'd like seeing a few of the more unique figures getting a release.

The second wave of Retro Collection figures are up for pre-order on the Toyco site.
I just placed my order but Boba Fett is already sold out.....I have the Vintage Collection Rocket Firing Fett so I'm not fussed on missing out

I know it's not a major thing but I've noticed the the wave 2 line of Retro figures seems to have different 'wear' marks on them as opposed to my wave 1 figures that all have the same wear patterns on their cardbacks.
I'm glad they're putting more thought into the cards.
