Celebration 2020, Anaheim
Wondering who's off to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim next year in August? Tickets have just gone on sale and the 4 day adult and Saturday adult tickets are sold out already, does anyone know if more tickets will be released and when? Would love to attend.

No more tickets will be released.
The official re-seller is Lyte. I think it was first used for Chicago this year, and seemed to be a reasonable back-up option - https://www.starwarscelebration.com/Buy ... -Exchange/
Judging by everything I've seen online, a ton of both the Jedi Master VIP and standard 4-day adult tickets were just grabbed by scalped intent on making a quick buck.

That's a real pain
After a long think over the weekend regarding if it's worth going only three of the four days, i've decided it's still not worth missing out on and have purchased the three remaining days, with hope I can pick up the Saturday pass via official re-seller Lyte. What's your thought on when tickets may pop up on Lyte?

Yeah, it's real tough that they sold out so fast, but locking in 3 tickets now is a reasonable strategy. Worst-case scenario, you could always spend the Saturday at Galaxy's Edge around the corner.
Not sure when the tickets will go live via Lyte, but will keep an eye out.

True, although imagine the queues at Galaxy Edge that week! Next question, what your thought about booking accommodation that far out, last time I booked a hotel around six months before the celebration?

Re: Celebration 2020, Anaheim
The queues at Galaxy's Edge are turning out to be far less unpleasant than they could have been. A lot has gone into crowd management and virtual bookings etc, which means that wait times are better than the chaos at things like the opening of the Avatar ride at Walt Disney World, Florida, or the recent new Harry Potter roller coaster at Universal.
Book a hotel or hotels as early as possible... there are no cancellation fees or penalties for dumping a booking with enough warning. Better to have something locked in, and look for something better, than be panicked looking for anything close at the last minute.

My brother (who lives in the States) picked up 2 x 4-day passes - and one of them is for me! Woohoo!
I've got wife-approval and am good to go.
First SWCC for me (plus will get to go to Galaxies Edge much earlier than I'd thought).

It's looking most likely now that Star Wars Celebration will be postponed until maybe next year, just wondering how many of you will be accepting a ticket refund or transfer your ticket to the new event?

Re: Celebration 2020, Anaheim
I'm looking for some advice! I missed out on the four day SW Celebration four day pass and only managed to purchase the Thursday, Friday and Sunday separate day passes. The cost of three separate days all came to worth more than the four day pass! Now with Star Wars Celebration 2020 officially postponed to 2022, should I request a refund and try to purchase a four day pass, or just live with missing out on the Saturday in 2022?
