Once that was done,I folded the top edges to fit into the top of the grip. After test fitting in the grip I cut a piece of MDF and glued it in-between the bottom of the two sides of the mount

More pics of the trigger group as progress is made and a comparison pic of a casting from Oota and the one I made with bought grip added. Note the difference in the guard position. It appears that this was common on some Sterlings. If I rotate the guard on the housing, it seems to match the position on Oota's casting from an original.

Made the selector by cutting a groove in the top of a Cap Screw and then gluing the plate into it. The grooves in the plate were done with a cutting disc.

I used a 3mm letter punch set to mark out the A R and S but I will need to do them again to try and get them crisp.
