Force Friday II, the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys, is confirmed to be taking place in NZ, with a few stores around the country opening at midnight (i.e., on the evening of Thursday August 31st).

First up on the list is SWNZ sponsor Toyco, based in Wagener Pl, St Luke, Auckland. Toyco will launch their products in store and online ( http://www.Toyco.co.nz ) simultaneously, and in terms of product range, have informed me that they will "have all and anything we can get".

Also, Mike L has been able to get information and post over on the SWNZ Facebook Group about Toyworld stores that will be opening at midnight ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/SWNZdis ... 666782415/ ). The following will have midnight events:

• Albany
• Tower Junction Christchurch
• Sylvia Park Auckland
• Wellington

(I've already posted this info in the Store Reports thread, but thought it couldn't hurt to add it here for those who are planning their Force Friday buy-up.)

Farmers currently have 3 3/4" single figures reduced from $17.99 to $11.99 and 3 3/4" 2-packs reduced from $34.99 to $19.99, and shelf tags confirm that these deals will run until September 3rd (including Force Friday).

No word yet on what kinds of deals The Warehouse or Toyworld will be offering, but I'll be sure to add them here as soon as I find out.

The Toyco, St Lukes, midnight opening event is definitely back on. They kept the pressure on the local Disney offices, and have sorted out approval. This is the event we'll be going to, so sing out if you'll be there
