We're looking to have an SWNZ Costume and Collectibles Mid-Winter Meet-up in Auckland on Saturday 23rd July.

Keen to get together with SWNZ members and Star Wars fans, catch up about the latest movie news, show-and-tell with your latest collectibles, and discuss costume/prop projects? We are. We've also been doing some re-organising of our Star Wars collectible displays, and have managed to get a bunch of stuff out of storage boxes and on to shelves - giving us displays spread across 6 rooms.

Location: Birkenhead
Date: Saturday 23rd July 2016
Time: 11am - 5pm-ish
Lunch: around 12:30/1pm. Food contributions for the lunch are welcomed.

NB: this date is just after both Celebration Europe and SD Comic Con, so there *has* to be a new Rogue One trailer and hopefully some toy reveals/news.

I'd be keen to come, seeing as I missed out on the last one

I might have my E-5 Blaster rebuild/conversion up to a base coat of paint, so I could bring that along.

In other news, by the beginning of next month I ought to finally be receiving my Big Brown Box of Anovos OT Stormtrooper armour! Been a long time wait, and even longer to get it shipped from the US by a colleague. If anyone's interested I could bring that as well.
