Will probably go down and check it out.

I am seriously looking at heading to this since Rototuna is only 20 minutes drive from where I live.
Even looking at wearing the SWNZ shirt

Usually I'm up with the play on Star Wars events in Hamilton but this one seemed to of slipped through.

I called past his display, which was a fun event, and have put a few photos up here:

Good catching up with some old friends too

well,i wasnt going to go today,but stuff.co.nz put up a neat lil article bout the event around lunchtime,so i slapped on an old t-shirt to represent the old school
class,threw my youngest sons mike and luke in the car,and made the gig.
really really stoked to catch up with old pals rob and matt [couldnt stop grinning in this photo,much as i tried]...im going for the old,fat "space-pirate" look in this pic
had a look around inside,and caught up with hayley! super stoked ! almost wore out my hug allowance there ! thanks hayley,was lovely to catch up with you

met a few new troopers from auckland. you guys looked incredible. freddy: your stume is excellent.the fabric is exactly right on the money mate !
thankyou to the fem tk,vader,jango and the epic looking death star gunner,for the handshakes and photos. i got a slightly perverse kick out of asking you guys "is it hot in there ?".........to have you guys politely deliver the expected response.
one of the auckland crew asked me what stumes i have done......i replied legit,but he may need convincing....nice to meet you,matt.

i went for a look with the kids as well, they loved it and can tell you it was a nice collection.

i am now the proud owner of a Chewbacca jumper too
