Re: The Best Star Wars Game of All Time
Seeing as I'm a bit useless on the old computer games I don't really play alot but I must admit when my partner gave me both the Lego Star Wars games as a present I couldn't stop playing them haha. They were a lot of fun and a good way to lose 2-3hrs

Re: The Best Star Wars Game of All Time
There's actually three Lego Star Wars games ... although I have to admit I don't know how much actual difference there is between the first two and the "Complete Saga" version.
There's also another Lego Star Wars game on the way based on the Clone Wars.
The postie dropped off my Mac copies of "Lego Star Wars Complete Saga" and the first "Lego Harry Potter" game yesterday ... not that they'll work on my ancient Mac.

I have the complete saga edition and thought that it was just the two games in the one box but I could be mistaken . I had to buy the Lego Indiana Jones as well and that's just as good as the SW version.Buzz Bumble wrote:There's actually three Lego Star Wars games ... although I have to admit I don't know how much actual difference there is between the first two and the "Complete Saga" version.

Re: The Best Star Wars Game of All Time
I think the Complete Saga version does contain the previous two games plus some extras and tweaks, but I'm not completely sure.
As well as Lego Indiana Jones, there's also already the Lego Harry Potter (Years 1-4) and Lego Batman games. In the plans are the Lego Star Wars III (based on the Clone Wars), Lego Indiana Jones II and presumably at least one more Lego Harry Potter game.
You can also get Lego Prince of Persia sets, so there miht be a game of that at some stage ... a game based on the Lego sets for a movie that's based on a game.

Re: The Best Star Wars Game of All Time
The complete Saga is the PT and OT games combined, but with extras. The game description mentions "revamped levels". Apparently the first game was aimed more at kids, but when it did so well, subsequent games have more content - so they tweaked the first game a bit to match the later one.
The Lego Clone Wars game is due out at the end of March here, based on the new series - though I don't know how much of the series will be included (like whether it will include Savage or not). It has the title Lego Star Wars III (as the PT and OT were I and II).
There are 2 versions of the Indiana Jones Lego game - the first has the original 3 films, the second also includes Crystal Skull (though I think they changed some levels in the second version? not sure). I only have the original version.
I do love the Batman and Harry Potter games too - and a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Lego game is in the works too, which I'm quite keen about. Pirate Lego sets were my favourite as a child

I will definatly be buying the Lego Clone Wars game and will surely be wasting away many nights infront of the computer when I do.
I never got much Lego when I was a child I had Toro blocks instead and as of yet I'm not to sure if they've put out any SW Games haha

Both versions of battlefront. The gameplay got somewhat limited after a while but in terms of immersion into SW it rocked! Driving an AT AT and pulverizing the rebels was right up there for me

Amen to that! I'm still really gutted they pulled the plug on Battlefront 3. The leaked test footage looked amazing:oota goota wrote:Both versions of battlefront. Re: The Best Star Wars Game of All Time
I just got BFII to run on my new laptop - ah the memories! I haven't been able to play it for years. Though I always play as a rebel I think I enjoyed killing stormtroopers too much from my JK/JA days...oota goota wrote:Both versions of battlefront. ha ha yeah I know what you mean. I really liked the rhen var and bespin levels on BF1. Annnd what's up with the PS3 thing? why only that platform? I am too old to look at a screen that size for any length of time
