Is there anybody else out there collecting these cards which have shown up in The Warehouse and EB Games branches in Christchurch and presumably elsewhere? I'm a few short of completing my set, and have plenty to trade with others in a similar position.

I have noticed these pop up in the Warehouse branches in Hamilton and was going to start getting a few packs next week. If I come across any spares I will let you know

Just as a heads-up, the packs I bought from the Warehouse had five cards apiece and cost $3 first time around, and $2.60 the next. The EB Games ones had eight cards for $2.90.

That's interesting. Is that marked on the external packaging?

There were no price stickers on the individual packs, just a large one on the display box, which was kept in a locked glass fronted cabinet behind the counter.

Again, if anyone's looking for trades for these cards let me know; I've got a whole heap of "swaps" ready to go.

I had just found my old topps wide vision set from a new hope last night.

I am collecting them also. only 10 short of the complete set (excluding Limited Edition Cards)

I have a stack of double ups to trade.

The Cards are in quite a few retailers - The Warehouse $3 (2 for $5 when on special), Mighty Ape and Toyco have them online, Toyworld have them but they are $4 a packet.

The current batch of cards at the Warehouse DN have 8 cards in the pack, the last lost only had 5.

What do the cards look like, I haven't seen them.
