Some other pieces from the Museum of Unfinished Projects:
Jawa blaster, now at the painting stage. Only rule for this one was that it had to be built from scrap items already in the shed. Total cost zero. Set of trooper biceps and forearm peps, ready for resin and fibreglass. These have been customised to fit me, mainly by lengthening the bicep to stop the shoulder bell getting snagged. Uruk Hai helmet. The forehead blade is a piece of bike frame hammered flat and cut with a cold chisel. Reasonably lethal. It's due for a major weathering today - washes of browns, some dust and sand, streaks of orange rust, etc. Then the leather strips get laced onto the back of the neck.

nice pics Phil I have bandsaw envy
That jawa blaster looks like it will come up nicely.
How many projects do you reckon you've got on the boil
I think I've got about 4 projects underway and about 3 or 4 that are still at day dreaming/ planning stage thank god.

Re: What's on your workbench?
I want an E-11 at some point, so I started by testing what happens when I take warhammer painting abilities up a few sizes:
A light and sound nerf death trooper rifle
And a barrel extender unhappily seamed (I'm going to fix this at some point) with some quick weathering
Still makes the lights and sound! I like the wear, I don't like the barrel colour change. Good to try something
