Of course it could be a ploy to throw everyone off track, but that seems like a weird move?First of all, the presentation this Friday afternoon will not include a trailer or any new clips of the movie. The next trailer will be coming in the fall, according to sources with knowledge of the project.
But don’t go hurling your cup of blue milk at the wall just yet. There will be other surprises.
Roughly six months before the Dec. 18 release, the Comic-Con panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the highly secretive film, which was completely locked down to press during production. (It’s still locked down. Lucasfilm and parent company Disney declined requests for comment.)
Director J.J. Abrams, screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy are already confirmed as part of the panel, which will be moderated by Nerdist impresario and Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick.
Although EW hasn’t learned just which of the cast members will be joining them, our spies say there will be several actors who haven’t yet spoken publicly about their roles venturing onstage in Hall H.

StarWars.com have posted an article on all the Star Wars exclusive products available at SDCC - some items I really wish had been for Celebration instead.

Re: SDCC 2015
They missed the Entertainment Earth, ToysRUs Hasbro 3 & 3/4" Jabba's Rancor set. It will debut at SDCC and later see a retail release in TRU stores in the US.
The set includes rereleased figures of Threepio, Luke, Leia, the ever popular and sought after Gamorrean and 2009's Rancor, as well as a brand new Jabba sculpt that is essentially a down-scaled version of the 6" Jabba.

Not much we haven't seen before, apart from the Jumbo Vintage Jabba.

Re: SDCC 2015
The likenesses on those GG busts are pretty good. I like the biker scout with the rifle, too.
I'm hoping we might get a few fun tidbits from tonight's opening, but I doubt we'll see anything new of real substance from most of the Star Wars licensees until after the official presentations on Friday.

Having said that, Sideshow has a massive TIE fighter on display! (presumably by Hot Toys?)

As well as that way cool TIE, it looks like the Sideshow booth has finally revealed the 1/6th scale Leia, the Falcon cockpit environment, and other recently teased 1/6th scale figs such as Maul and AT-AT driver. http://www.yodasnews.com/sdcc-15-quick- ... -sideshow/
