Hey guys the Armageddon expo is coming up in July at the cake tin, not too far away at the moment.
I know it's not as big as the celebration but still an exciting time for us locals.
Would also be a good time to catch up with troopers from around the country.

Hey badges, not sure if I'll be heading along just yet - but we should definitely try and catch up while you're in town. Maybe we can aim for holding one of our Wretched Hive meet-ups that weekend to catch any out-of-towners.

This is held at the Cake Tin?

Yes it is, the layout will be a bit different this time around, Plus several locations for events as well.
One of those events will be a Weta workshop experience.
I'll get photos of the leaflet on line soon, i'm about to go to a concert tonite.

This year the event is being advertised as the first ever NZ comic con, so all out is being put into it.
Should be fun all round

That would be good, depends on the night or afternoon being held.
I'll be in town for friday, pick up my boots from Evan then into the tin I go.
Then i'll be in for Saturday with my Daughter then we're off to fielding for the rest of the weekend.

Sounds like Friday or Saturday night could be the way to go then. I'll start putting the word out and see how everyone is fixed. Reckon you'll be around that weekend Harvey?

Friday could be the one for me as Saturday I'll be heading up to Fielding that night.
I will also have to keep in mind that I have my costume to go over that night before showing in on the Saturday, tweeks and repairs etc etc.
Plenty of blue milk too.

I'm gonna be there! But not in any Star Wars costumes because I'm so busy working on a comp cosplay (unless I actually work on chuchi & get her done in time, haha!)
