I don't know when it will be playing on New Zealand TV, but here's the trailer for the Star Wars episode of the rather silly animated show "Phineas & Ferb". YouTube Phineas & Ferb Star Wars episode trailer.

I gave this the benefit of doubt and checked it out recently...it's actually really quite clever and worthwhile. Created for kids, but will appeal to adult SW fans - lots of obscure references embedded in an entertaining plot. It takes place in parallel with the events of ANH, and explains lots of elements of the latter (in a non-canon way ) such as why Luke was so keen on getting some power converters, and a bit of backstory for the trash compactor dianoga.

It was on Cartoon Network last week. It was ok but the Family Guy ones are better! The Jedi one is on Wednesday night.
