Indiana Jones "Reboot"??

A new rumour has surfaced that they are stupidly planning to
"reboot" the Indiana Jones franchise ... hopefully untrue - the last thing we need is another great franchise destroyed by the talentless lazy Hollyweird hack generation.

I thought he was Han Solo.
I can see a younger actor being used in a properly done prequel or an "Indy Jnr" with Shia La Beouf taking over, but an idiotic reboot is always, always, always completely unnecessary. If they want to make silly changes, then make a
new franchise called "Omaha Brown" or "Lara Croft".

Talking of Indiana Jones prequels ... for those with Sky TV subscriptions, the Jones! channel (seems appropriate
) is starting the young Indiana Jones TV series this weekend ...
- The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles
6:30pm, Saturdays - starts 21 June, 2014
As with many Sky TV shows, there will probably be repeats in other timslots.

Sorry. I posted about that too. It's replacing Star Trek TOS.
I'm not generally a fan of reboots. Spiderman was pointless.
However, Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy was cinematic perfection....

Maybe, maybe not ... it may even have been a perfect replication of the "Dark Knight " which the comic book industry had already "rebooted" into ... but it certainly wasn't "Batman" by any stretch of the imagination.
