Auckland Costuming and Collecting Meet-up, January

Update: This is locked in for Saturday 11th January 2014, all day from 10:30am.
We're just starting to organise a costuming and collecting meet-up (Auckland), to kick of the 2014 year. With a bit of luck we'll get some good summer weather, so will be able to work on and help people with whatever costuming projects they are up to at the moment. The plan at the moment would be to have a full-day meet-up (from about 10:30am) to make it worth while traveling to from out of town etc, and to see if we can really make some solid progress on costuming.
This post is to assess interest, and to see if Saturday 11th January 2014 or Sunday 12th January would work better for the greatest number of people...if you are keen and interested, please post/reply with your preferred date:
- Saturday 11th January 2014
- Sunday 12th January 2014
- Either Sat 11th or Sun 12th

Woohoo! I've become besotted with my bounty hunter gear again so might be able to bring some pieces (essentially Shae in a different colour scheme
).

Would love to come but will be in Aussie with the in-laws at that time! Very much looking forward to attending some time in 2014!

I think 2014 is going to be a big year for the community, building momentum for 2015...we'll be looking to have meet-ups such as this about every 4-6 weeks (scheduled to fit in around the major conventions etc). Hope one will fit in with your timetable

Hope we can make that happen for you too.
Looks like we've got a quorum for
Saturday 11th January. With a bit of luck, we'll have a good weather day, and will be able to work outside on a number of projects. Aiming for a start anytime from 10:30am.
