I spent today at the Johnson Space Center here in Houston, TX, and thought I'd throw up a few pictures for those who are interested. It's an incredible place, and highly recommended if you make it to this neck of the woods!

The details on the Saturn V reminded me a lot of the OT-design aesthetic.

And I do believe I discovered the illegitimate love child of Boba Fett and a quad-bike...

Awesome. The space shuttle mock-up is cool. Definitely hope to visit there one day. The engineering on the Saturn-era and shuttle rocket engines has a definite beauty and artistry in its functional complexity.

We enjoyed our time at the Kennedy Space Center last year (I took lots of rocket-engine photos too... http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattandkri ... 280876464/ )...looking forward to checking out the Space Shuttle Endeavour at the California Science Center during our Celebration Anaheim trip.
