The next meet-up is tentatively scheduled for Saturday 17th August. The day will follow the usual pattern...more details to follow.

Okay, we're locked in for next weekend (Saturday 17th August), continuing the countdown to Auckland Armageddon in October.

Meet-up will be held in Birkenhead (message me for the address if you haven't come along before). The emphasis is on Rebel/Good Guy costumes, but we won't turn you away if you have other Star Wars projects you want to get involved with. It will be an all day event to make it worthwhile attending for current or prospective members who are from other regions - starting from 10:30am, and running through to about 5:30pm.

If you want to get advice about any costumes, help others with their costume projects, make progress on your own projects, or just swap ideas and discuss Good Guy costuming in general, this will be a great opportunity. We'll have on hand examples of Rebel Pilots, Clones, Royalty costumes, Jedi, and more.

I may be sort of might be a bit obsessed with shiny frocks (robe de cour... hey they are at least 6 feet wide, have a 3m train and are silver..) and dino ladies (Madam Vastra herself will be at Armageddon) but I should be there

one pay a month.. only one.. and they cant even do that right! I cant even afford a beer (well ok I can.. but not from my 'spare change' account)
No chance of driving up with only 1/2 tank of gas (I couldn't get home.....)
I'm no teacher.. but have the same payroll company. I remember when they said teachers were now on novopay.. all the people in our site just said " those poor bas***ds have no idea what's coming"

must apologise to novopay.. apparently 'someone' in our company didn't transfer money into the bank that then pays us! Multi billion dollar company.. pfft..
im sure a bunch of 5 year olds could run things better
