Re: Pop Kultcha Market Day
Thank You so much for posting this ! We are working to bring a more back to basics, sci-Fi , pop culture collectors market events that fits between Armageddon and the Toy Swap Meets and if successful we can plan more for next year.
We hope to do a bit more advertising before the event! and glad the word is getting out there!
There are a few sellers with Star Wars merchandise going to be there too and we have a big screen available so may put on some star wars related programming(not the holiday special though)
---
Bazzack you can contact us via the facebook page, we have sold all the tables so far but we have been shuffling people around, and people may pull out so a waiting list is forming.

Re: Pop Kultcha Market Day
Pop Kultcha Market #2 is coming up on Sunday October 13. 10-3pm at the same location.
The Rose Centre, School Road, Belmont
Myself and 2 other SWNZ members have combined a couple of tables for this one.
We'll have a good range of Star Wars items for sale.
Come and say Hi if ya make it along.

Re: Pop Kultcha Market Day
Well, that was very successful. The pop kultcha market went well(for our table atleast).
Not sure how others went, as we were quite busy selling stuff
There was some good bargains to be had. One table that had a fair few boxed SW micro machines items etc, put 1/2 price on everything later in the day. And they were cheap to start!
There's was one causality however. I managed to accelerate instead of brake with my R2-D2, and smacked him hard into a wooden pole at the beginning of the day. (My droid driving is certainly a bit rusty).
Was a nasty crunching sound. Thought I'd cracked the dome! Fortunately the rear holoprojector took the impact and broke free inwards.
Should be a relatively easy repair prior to Auckland Armageddon.
