Free Comic Book Day 2013

As well as being 'Star Wars Day', yesterday was also the annual Free Comic Book Day. A few of us attended the event at Auckland comic book store 'Heroes for Sale'. They did an great job of hosting the event, with lots of activities, and free comics of course 
Members of the NZ Rebel Legion costuming club were in attendance too, and helped raise over $500 for the charity KidsCan.
Auckland Libraries had a mobile stand set up, full of Star Wars books and comics available to check out (even if you had forgotten your library card). The Auckland Sci-Fi club was also there, and hosted a great Star Wars themed 'Amazing Race' event
