It may be too soon since out last one and we might all be a big shagged from being up till midnight the evening before, but it could be a fun excuse for a get-together.
Separate thread now started here :)

I have just added ToyCo (St Lukes, Auckland) to the list of stores that will be having a midnight opening. There will possibly be a third Auckland location as well, but that is dependent on a few things yet to be finalised. We are going to need to rustle up a good lot of fans in order to support these progressive retailers!

Any news on the likelihood of Farmers, the warehouse or Kmart holding an event? Or should I contact them?

I'm working my way through the Toyworlds at the moment. Feel free to drop Farmers/KMart a note. If you get any positive responses, please do me a favour and get them to contact me if they want to specifically be mentioned in the advertising etc that I'll be doing through SWNZ for the events.

Unfortunately Hamilton Toyworld (the base) has decided not to do a force Friday event :-( due to staff not willing to participate. Fair enough on there part. However I will stay in contact with Debbie who is already interested in future midnight madness events. She also gave me an update on stock and that she will be placing the first orders for stock later this week but is finding it difficult to order as there are no pictures on what she's ordering.
Unless another retailer pulls through with a force Friday event it looks like I will be doing a trip to Auckland and may finally get to meet some of you guys.

Matt I will drop Kmart an email this afternoon or contact them via phone this afternoon if that is of help. Seem to have all the time in the world at the moment lol

I like the idea of a decent sized group going to one of these. Albany is as good as anywhere in Auckland. I just hope they have a good selection of fun :D
Hopefully the weather will play ball. Is there a roof overhang outside that Toyworld?

Pretty sure there's a roof overhang that wraps around the building/neighbouring stores.

Toyworld Sylvia Park is now locked in and confirmed for a midnight release. :)

That's quite a convenient branch for some, so I imagine that its a useful addition to the list.
