Some new pics have shown up via JediTempleArchives/Rebelscum, of an upcoming wave. I like the notion of a new Weequay guard. There are also rumours of a new Tauntaun and a new Sandcrawler, and other figures... http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/Ru ... 136054.asp

Ooo new Barriss Offee and Shaak Ti! :D I hope they make a Duchess Satine figure at some point, she's been in quite a few episodes now.

Yeah Shaak Ti is repacked in that wave (due later in 2011) but she should appear for the first time in the wave that's due right after the one on our pegs here in NZ currently, so with luck we may see her any time now. She's a gorgeous figure:

Embo rocks too.

It's a great time to be a Barriss Offee fan, which my daughter is. We had a Galactic Heroes Barriss at the end of last year, and this year we're getting new versions of her in both the Vintage and Clone Wars lines.

There's a new Aayla Secura coming in the Vintage line later this year, and I hope they repack the Clone Wars version of her sometime because that was impossible to get and now fetches a pretty penny on e-bay.

I wish they'd do Satine too, but so far Hasbro as said she is not in their plans, citing non Jedi female characters being poor sellers as their reason. Booo!

Here are some more new figure images from the cardbacks of those newest figures, including new clones (ARC!), new season 3 Ahsoka and Anakin and an Aqua Battledroid!:

Some more long range rumours have filtered into Rebelscum's forums recently from long-time leaker Stan, who has a pretty impressive credibility rating based on past predictions. Here are his latest, cleaned up for spelling and organised...

* BMF/BAT-AT scaled Sandcrawler is being discussed at Hasbro as a possible item to produce in some future year. It is not in development yet, just being discussed.
* Grand Moff Tarkin....2012
* Death Squad Commmander....2011-2012
* Gonk Droid...2012-2013
* Widdle/Oochee (AT-ST Hyjackers)...exclusive ewok packs...waiting on a vendor
* Bespin Guard (moustached perhaps?)...2011-2012
* Torryn Farr... Pending on vendor (does that mean she'll have her console and chair?)
* Ree-Yees...2012
* Lando skiff guard...2012
* Emperor...2012-2013
* EV-9D9...2012
* 8d8... 2011-2012
* Cantina Bith musician...2012-2013
* Uncle Owen...2012-2013
* Captain Tarpals....2012
* Tiree (Gold squadron) and Theron Nett (Red 10)....pending on vendor

Wow, those Clone Wars figures are starting to look good. Pitty I still don't really like the style of them and having a few would look out of place with what I have in my small collection.

Ditto. Though it's getting more and more tempting looking at these sculpts.

I wonder if they would ever consider doing 'life-like' releases of favourite The Clone Wars characters (just like they did with some of the characters from the Clone Wars micro-series)?

Yup, it has been confirmed from Hasbro in a Q&A that they will be happening. Expect to see some select CW characters appearing in realistic style on vintage cardbacks at some point in the next year or so.

On a hunt today for Vintage GGs and Wickets I noticed that the ROTS Anakin has been repackaged on a card titled Darth Vader. Figure and card look the same otherwise. However the new Vader card has some interesting coming soon vintage figures like ceremonial Han and Commander Gree on the back....

For completionists, it also appears that the ROTS vintage clone trooper card has been touched up with more colour to the ship in the background.

Also, I hear the vintage AOTC range got a pre Xmas release in Australia .. I wonder how long until they grace our shelves?
