My buddy, Lee, is also building one, which I can't wait to see in April!

Hey Harvey it's still sitting like that at the moment. I've got a thread about it somewhere. It's an Aussie import

Still got a looooong way to go to get it up and running

me too! I went on this slightly crazed mission to Melbourne a couple of years ago after I'd arranged to purchased this cabinet. Me and the owner of the cab drank a little too much blue milk then proceed to knock 7 bells out of the cab and we flat packed it and I shipped it over here. It was fun but I hope I don't do something like that again
Love that millennium falcon build I think I would go blind trying to tackle something like that

I'm going to be in the Auckland Santa Paraade next weekend as a Certain Ice Queen (apparently on top of an appropriately themed float for a charity group which is awesome! But it means I have been basically printing, taping, spray gluing, fusing, and cutting snowflakes for days.

See how that is made up of incredibly thin fillaments and then a fairly thick but soft fluffy/fuzzy thread? Yeah. They don't cut the same way and the fuzzy ones need super sharp blades. Hooray for being able to cut with a craft knife/box cutter as I did have to snap my way through about three blades!
about 68 flakes bewteen 4-24" acress as well as the flurry which is about 150cm by 300cm as it's a half circle
Tomorrow I'm also doing a talk at Henderson Library on sci-fi costumes so will be bringing my Ashara Zavros headdress and possibly Darth Talon lekku as well as Shae armour

Hopefully will be able to bring people over to the idea of Making rather than making.
