I thought that too, that this is a ancient sith Lightsaber and perhaps even more powerful that the modern lightsabers we see in the saga which is why it seems to burn rather than glow.

Update: Supposedly, this character built it himself, from old parts… most of the character details and a lot of the plot have just been revealed.

Slightly off topic the new Terminator trailer is released on Sat. He's back!

Hmm just watched the Terminator trailer and although I'm a fan it left me with more questions than answers - like a good trailer should! New JJ.Abram's Star Trek has been announced for 2016 too. I was so impressed with what he did with the first two reboots when he wasn't even a fan - imagine what he will do with SW Ep.VII !!! Bring on Dec 2015, midnight screenings anyone???
