Next stage was putting on the stripes and lettering. Using an image off the Net, I set about creating my own in reflective 3M vinyl.

Hey that looks really stunning, great job there, can't wait to see it on the weekend.
I'll have to drag mine out for comparison.
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.

Forecast looks good! See you there, Badges!

Just been getting ready, dusting off the armour - well, sandy's don't dust their armour, but shaking the scorpions out of the boots, etc.

Looking forward to trying out the RomFX for the first time. Spent last night fixing the mike into the helmet with hot glue, then walking round the house blasting random phrases at my wife. She didn't appear too amused. Quite a strong reaction, actually. :ohwell:

I next made the 'Pill Box' from MDF and styrene. Getting the measurements off the Net, I set about marking up and cutting the 9mm MDF. I then cut out the hinge recesses on two corners and then sanded the edges to a round profile. I then sat it on a piece of white plastic and traced around the MDF lid then cut this out. I made up two hinge pieces and drilled these out, and glued then to the "base/Lid piece. I the primed and painted the MDF and when this was dry, I glued it to the 'base/lid'
